| Background and Aim: One of the indigenous medicinal plants of Iran, saffron is the scientific name that the use of its crop to ancient times. The short-term growth of saffron and the small need for saffron has led many farmers in low-yielding lands on Cultivate this product. Materials and Methods: This research has been carried out for the antioxidant activity of this plant strain under the influence of two manure and chemical fertilizers. In this experimental study, saffron bulbs were first cultivated in a completely randomized block. Then, the phytochemical study of the plant was performed and the antioxidant activity of the extract at different concentrations was determined by using radical 2 and 2 diphenyl-1-picilyl-hydrazil (DPPH) Measured. Results The results showed that samples treated with manure exhibited more antioxidant activity. Conclusion: The percentage of DPPH free radicals inhibition is also indicative of the relatively high antioxidant properties of this species. A sample of irrigated plot at a crop capacity and 1.3 have shown the highest antioxidant properties. Saffron's compatibility to the climate of our country, the existence of ancient culture, production and consumption, prosperity and demand for world markets of Iranian products, and consequently employment and currency are among the issues that require special attention to this plant. |
