Abstract
Background and Aim : This research aims to provide valuable insights and techniques for remediation, ultimately facilitating the development of skills and strategies to manage conflict and promote positive behavior in the workplace. Methods: By examining the psychology of emotion, occupational psychology, and social psychology, this research identifies key variables contributing to aggressive behavior, including perceptual biases, social representations, and personality traits. The study highlights the significance of cognitive assessment, emotional regulation, and social support in managing aggressive behavior and promoting prosocial conduct. Furthermore, it emphasizes the crucial role of occupational psychologists and human resources in preventing and controlling workplace violence. Results: The findings suggest that a comprehensive approach, incorporating individual, inter-individual, and organizational factors, is necessary to mitigate the negative consequences of workplace violence and foster a healthy and productive work environment. Conclusion: Workplace violence is a pervasive and complex issue affecting individuals and organizations alike. This study delves into the dynamics of workplace violence, exploring its underlying factors, triggers, and consequences.
